In 2005 after her stepfather was diagnosed with skin cancer, and being encouraged to look at ingredient labels by doctors, she discovered how many toxic ingredients were in beauty products.
And when she couldn’t find products that met her ingredient standards and were actually effective, she decided to make them. Not just for herself, but for women like her who she felt didn’t need to compromise their health for beauty.
Tata Harper uses 300+ raw ingredients from 68 countries and 43+ high performing ingredients.
The results are products that truly deliver what they say they will. Tata Harper doesn’t skimp on anything!

Tata Harper Water Lock Moisturizer Review
I have been on the facial moisturizer hunt for the past several months. As the weather changes, I’m always searching for anything that will moisturize my skin. I had tried Tata Harper’s Water-Lock Moisturizer in the past and remember liking it but wanted to test it out again.
This moisturizer delivers when it comes to giving the skin a smooth and supple feeling without feeling greasy. I love how it really sinks into the skin and feels rich but not overly. I applied it in the morning before my makeup to see how well it moisturized my skin throughout the day. It felt great initially and it gave my skin a perfect canvas before applying my makeup- a great primer for sure. However, I did notice by 3 or 4 in the afternoon my skin felt a little taut and dry.
I have very dry skin, so take that into consideration. I also tested this in the winter. In the summer and early fall I imagine this would be the perfect moisturizer for my skin as I tend to be less dry from the humidity in the air and warmer weather. I found I needed an oil over the moisturizer to really help seal in the moisture if I wanted my skin to feel nourished the whole day. If you have normal or oily skin, this would be a great moisturizer. And I think it’s still a good one for dry skin, just know you may need an oil as well.
I liked it as a night face lotion too, but again I found I definitely needed to wear an oil over it in order to keep my skin feeling moisturized by the morning.
I love how it’s full of active ingredients like orange peptides, pomegranate spheres and macro hyaluronic acid. Plus, it comes in a sustainable reusable system that allows you to only buy the full product once and then only the refill system after.
I know I’ll be using this through the summer and early fall!
